How Grandpa Did It

Grandpa ParkerGeorge 'Brownie" Parker began Parker Tree Service back in 1937, in Bakersfield, California. Back in those days, there were no boom trucks ("cherry pickers") and the rigging "systems" were just good ropes and good knot-tying.

Brownie's 4 sons, Joe, Jesse, Mike, and George, became tree-climbers as well, aParker Tree Servicend the family business became known for it's dependability, fairness, and hard work ethic. 

In 1978, the family moved to La Grand, Oregon, where Jesse Parker continues to operate that part of the business. Joe and his family continued on to Idaho.

Joe's son, Justin, with fond memories of climbing and working alongside dad and grandpa, became a third-generation Parker tree climber, and now runs the business here in the Treasure Valley.Tree Removal Service Idaho

Brownie Parker climbed his last tree at the age of 78. A lot has changed over seven decades, but dedication to the values the company was founded on have not. The Parker family is grateful to its many customers, and looks forward to continued service in the years to come.
